Smile & Eat Comfortably With a Set of New Dentures
The evolution of dentures can be traced back thousands of years, to their invention around 2500 B.C. Today, these restorations are better than ever. You can expect your replacement teeth to fit better, feel better, and last longer than dentures from a few years ago. Dr. Keene and our team have used custom dentures to help many patients, and we can do the same for you. Isn’t it time you enjoyed a beautiful smile again?
The type of dentures we recommend to you will depend on your situation and needs. Your options could include:
- Conventional Full Dentures – You can replace full arches of teeth with this style of denture. They are designed to be removed easily for daily cleaning and care.
- Conventional Partial Dentures – We may recommend a set of partials if you have several healthy teeth remaining. They will clasp onto your other teeth to stay in place.
- Implant-Retained Dentures – For a stable and secure fit, we’ll anchor your new teeth to a set of dental implants using a set of snaps and balls. Like conventional dentures, you can easily remove them for cleaning.
- Implant-Supported Dentures – These teeth are designed to only be removed by a dentist. Simple brushing and flossing keeps them clean. They will attach to dental implants using a sturdy metal bar and are our most comfortable style of denture.
- Temporary Dentures – We will fit you with temporaries to wear while your final restorations are being crafted by our lab partner.

Dentures can replace either a few missing teeth or all your teeth, depending on your situation. We offer dentures in several styles to accommodate just about every patient. You can get partial or full conventional dentures that remove easily for cleaning, or you can stabilize your dentures with a set of dental implants for superior comfort and performance.
In general, most patients can expect their new dentures to be made in about one to two weeks. Some cases may take a little longer, and some a little shorter. You will then try them on to make sure they fit, and we’ll make any needed adjustments. We can provide you with temporary dentures to wear while your final restorations are being made. That way, you don’t ever have to be without your teeth again.
Traditional dentures that stay in place with dental adhesives will fit snugly and comfortably on top of your gums. Over time, however, they will need to be adjusted to maintain stability. To avoid this, we’re able to secure your dentures to dental implants. With implants, you won’t have to worry about your replacement teeth slipping or falling out when you eat or speak.
